For my audio script I read aloud one of my favorite poems, 'An April Sunday Brings the Snow' by Phillip Larkin. Its silent reverie of the memories of a lost loved one is profoundly moving despite the poems lovely imagery. I hope to create an animated companion for the poem that embodies a parallel tone of conflicting emotion. The poem has two main images: the plum tree covered in snow and the jars of jam the narrator can't help from looking at.These three together (the plum tree, the narrator, and the jam) will be the focus of my work.
